Do you provide event insurance?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Blackbirds & Tonic carries $2 million in general and liquor liability insurance. If your venue requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI) or needs to be added as an additional insured for your event, just let us know.

Question 2

Do you provide the alcohol?

Accepted Answer

We make the alcohol process easy, but Blackbirds & Tonic does not directly sell or provide the alcohol.
You can purchase the alcohol yourself, or we can help coordinate your order through one of our preferred licensed retailers. We'll create a recommended shopping list based on your guest count, service time, and selected cocktail menu so you know exactly what to purchase.
One of the perks of working with our preferred retailer is that they can deliver directly to your event and they offer a 10% discount on your entire purchase!
Already have your alcohol? No problem! We're happy to work with what you provide.

How do we book Blackbirds & Tonic?

It's as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1. Get your proposal. Start by selecting the Get a Quote button on our website and tell us a little about your event. We'll use those details to create a customized proposal.
2. Let's chat. Schedule a virtual consultation so we can talk through your vision, bar service, cocktails, logistics, and any questions you may have.
3. Save your date. Once you're ready to move forward, sign your service agreement and submit your 50% retainer. Your event is officially on our calendar!

What is the difference between the three bar packages you offer?

We offer three customizable levels of bar service, depending on how simple—or spirited—you'd like your celebration to be.
Feathered FlightsPerfect for a simple and elegant bar experience featuring beer, wine, and champagne without hard spirits.
Tailfeather TonicsOur signature cocktail experience! This package combines beer and wine with handcrafted signature cocktails, giving your guests a little more variety without offering a traditional full bar.
Blackbirds BountyThe full experience. This package offers a full bar, giving your guests a wider selection of spirits and cocktails in addition to beer and wine.
Not sure which one fits your event? Don't worry! We'll help you choose during your consultation, and all of our packages can be customized to fit your celebration.

Question 5

Can I cancel after booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our service agreement outlines our cancellation policy and any applicable cancellation fees.
Because we intentionally limit the number of events we accept on any given day, reserving your date means we may turn away other inquiries for that same date. For that reason, retainers and cancellation fees may apply depending on when your event is cancelled.
We recommend reviewing the cancellation terms in your service agreement carefully before booking. If you have questions, we're always happy to walk you through them.

Can you create a custom cocktail menu for our event?

Absolutely—it's one of our favorite things to do!
We love creating cocktails inspired by our clients, whether that means incorporating your favorite spirits, flavors, seasonal ingredients, wedding colors, event theme, or even a special memory.
During your consultation, we'll talk about what you love (and what you don't!) and help create a cocktail menu that feels uniquely yours.
